Grandma Builds A Web Site
As a small business owner, I was told that I needed a website. It was the only way to stay in business these days. So I started looking around at what my options were. I was a little overwhelmed by all of the diversity available. I could get web hosting for as little as $9.99 for a year. A local company would build a site for me for $299.00, but they told me not to expect any traffic. They told me that even if someone entered my business name and my town into the search, my business would not come up. Well I thought, "What's the point of that?" So I started looking on the internet for other options, not really knowing what I was looking for. I came across a company called Site Build It. There was a cute little turtle that explained the philosophy of their company was to take it slow and do it right. By signing up, they would teach me step by step the way to build a site AND get traffic. Now that caught my attention. For the same price as a site with no traffic (made for me), I could have a site with traffic (built myself). So I signed up. I had no experience with computers, except for getting e-mails and word programs. But I followed the written and video guide that is provided step by step. All questions are answered and there is a great forum to learn tips from others building a site. Keywords, longtail, finding your niche and preselling are explained in a way that even I could understand. They show how t1220620164
