Dry Skin Brushing

I guarantee you will notice a difference in the way your skin feels after starting to dry skin brush. And like me, you will never stop doing it because you just love the feel of your skin after a good brushing.

So what is dry skin brushing? Simply, you are brushing your dry skin with a good natural bristle brush. A hair brush does the trick, but do make sure that it has natural bristles. I have a fairly large one so that I can reach all parts of my back (oooohhhhyyyeeeaaaahhh!).

As you brush, the old dead skin cells are loosened from your skin and flake off leaving your skin looking clearer and feeling silky (like no lotion or expensive cream can do).

Begin to methodically go over your body, just brushing as you go. Places to concentrate on are the back of your arms and your thighs since they tend to get built up with dry skin.

Be very careful when brushing your face. The blood vessels are very near the surface of the skin and can break easily. Gently does it.

Some people like to stand in the shower while they do the dry skin brushing so that the dead skin cells get washed down the drain when you shower.

After two days, you will be hooked. You will notice the difference and so will anyone who touches your skin.

I was donating blood a few months ago and the nurse asked me if I creamed my skin. I told her no. Then I realized that she could feel the difference between my skin and all the others who gave blood--because of the dry skin brushing.
